Clean the bottom of your baby's heel with an alcohol wipe.Remove the cap from the heel stick. Place the heel stick on either outer edge of your baby's heel and pushdown to puncture.Wipe away the first drop of blood with gauze.Gently squeeze one drop of blood into each circle on the collection sheet or squeeze the specified amount ofblood into a test tube or onto a test strip.Apply pressure to the punctured area with gauze to stop the bleeding.
